Betty's chicks are hatching today - there are 4 so far from the 9 eggs. It was very hot this afternoon and she got off the nest for a long time - I am hoping that wont mean she will do a giant poo on the new chicks, ugh. 1 of the 4 has little stripes like an emu but the other 3 are plain buff. There may have been some eggs from Pryanka so I'm on the look out for a pea comb but nothing so far.
